MithilaDwaar respects your privacy. This site may collect limited technical data (such as browser type and pages visited) and account-related information when you register or sign in, to operate the service and improve the experience.

We use Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, features used, and submission workflows). These services may set cookies or use similar technologies. Data is aggregated for product improvement — not sold to third parties.

If you use third-party sign-in (for example Google), that provider's privacy policy also applies to authentication data they process.

MithilaDwaar displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google and its partners may also use cookies and similar technologies to personalize the ads you see. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or, if you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, www.aboutads.info/choices. Third-party vendors, including Google, may combine information about your visits to this and other sites to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

Your rights and your data

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may access, correct and erase your personal data. When signed in, open your profile and use Privacy & your data to download a copy of everything we hold about you, or to delete your account.

When you delete your account, your profile, saved items, collections, progress, notifications and settings are erased and you are signed out everywhere. Posts and comments you published for the community remain but are shown as “Deleted user” and are no longer linked to you. Records of payments are retained as required by law. Your sign-in details are moved to a restricted archive and permanently wiped after 30 days; you may register again with the same email at any time.
