हिंदी बोलै वालासभक लेल — गलती सँ बचू
- पेड़→रुख
Tree is commonly रुख in Maithili.
- पानी (Hindi vowel)→पानि
Water ends in short इ: पानि.
- बारिश→बरखा
Rain is बरखा in everyday Mithila speech.
- मिट्टी only→माटी / धरती
Soil is often माटी; earth/ground is धरती.
