पानि मे खड़ा होब
The **evening and morning arghya** are the heart of Chhath. Vratis (fasting devotees) offer to the setting and rising sun from knee-deep river water — a practice unique to the Mithila-Bhojpur belt.
संध्या आ उषा अर्घ्य छठक हृदय अछि। व्रती घाटक पानि मे खड़ा होइ क अस्त आ उगते सूर्यक अर्घ्य देत अछि — ए परंपरा मिथिला-भोजपुर बेल्टक अनोख अछि।
